Imugan Falls and Dupax Sea of Clouds.

The Club Aero-Max Pampanga (CAMP) is a group of motorcycle enthusiasts with Yamaha Aerox 155cc and/or Yamaha NMAX 155cc scooters.

The club's objective is to unite a group of individuals from all walks of life to ride safe, have fun riding together, and travel places that scooters can reach. We address ourselves as "Masters" to imply equal respect to one another in the most humble way.

The inspiration for this rides was to visit Imugan Falls a day in advance, before riding to Dupax Sea of Clouds Viewdeck early in the morning.

We arrived in Nueva Ecija after about 160km and more than 4 hours of smooth rides through the bends leading to Santa Fe.

We took a short break in Santa Fe - the border between Nueva Ecija and Nueva Vizcaya provinces. From there, it's just another 15km to Imugan Falls, rides and trekking combined.

Imugan Falls.

We reached Imugan, Santa Fe, Nueva Vizcaya after an hour of exciting twisting roads of Santa Fe. The bends are great there and relatively easy to make mistakes.

After finding the jump-off point to Imugan Falls, we returned to the main highway to look for a transient house to stay overnight - then unloaded our stuffs, and went back to the falls in trekkings clothes.

Very near the jump-off point, there's a hanging bridge over a stream.

This hanging bridge leads to a private settlement owned by the 7th Day Adventist. You have to go straight ahead to the narrow path, and not crossing that bridge if going to Imugan Falls.

We were enjoying the moment with some funny jokes help us with the exhaustion. The trekking is less than 30mins from the jump-off point.

The trekking was relatively easy but I was overweight during that time. I was gasping for air on that easy trail.

After passing a man-made structure that was abandoned, you will have the glimpse of the Imugan Falls from afar.

Without so much expectations, the sound of the water brings excitement. None of us have been there - so everyone was intensified while taking every steps.

Seeing for the first time, Imugan Falls was still in it's prestine condition.

It feels like no body was here - the locals have a very good conservation efforts to keep it as-is - resulting to an atmosphere of almost virgin landscape.

Every careful steps near to it translates to so much excitement.

The scenery was absolutely stunning..!

And the more you are closer, the deafening sound of the gashing water is exhilarating.

The boys were enjoying the cold water splashing down from above.

While a few can contain the freezing waters, others like me were shivering with the extremely cold water.

The entire place was really super stunning.

We were full of satisfaction while trekking back the same route towards the jump-off point. In a house near-by, we requested the family to cook for us some food for lunch - before we head back to our transient house to rest.

We stayed in G-Vie's Inn & Minimart as staging point to Imugan Falls and Dupax early in the morning. The mini grocery had some beers for us to unwind for a bit. (ctto: www.google.com/maps)

Dupax Sea of Clouds.

Starting the rides from the early morning when it's still dark, it's only about 66km to the Dupax Sea of Clouds Viewdeck point. The roads are mixed of new and old roads, some rough roads, some very tight roads, steep climbs, and mostly winding roads. The road near the viewdeck is newly built roads that will link the east part going to Isabela without going back to San Jose City. By chance during the morning, and since it's high enough, the clouds are seen just passing by in almost the eye level. (ctto: www.google.com/maps)

We arrived in the viewdeck just in time when there were still clouds passing by.

We were so delighted to arrive safe.

Seen at the background were the clouds from afar.

And it was fun there and everyone's enjoying the moment.

The "sea of clouds" in Dupax was really amazing. You can only see such scenery in Ifugao's Mount Polis, and in the Mountain Province' Bessang Pass.

After more than an hour of taking photos, chatting and laughing with one another, we rolled back down - and the boys were in "racing pace" back to Santa Fe. We took a shower and eat rice at JBL eatery, then immediately ride back home.

We took a short break after the "motoGP rides" in the bends of Santa Fe. There was no chance to take photos before that rest - everyone was rushing back - and the pace was so intensed.

This rides was almost 600km back-and-forth, and it was all worth it. (ctto: www.google.com/maps)

Shortly after arriving in Angeles City, my Metzeler Feelfree rear tire has the " not so leaning" ride marks, as the lean angle for NMAX 130/70 rear tire does not give enough grip to force the hang-out on bends. I was also very hesitant for the reason I can't explain. I was in fact in the rear of the pack going back.

Nevertheless, Team CAMP arrive in Angeles City safely, exhausted, and very much rewarded with great experience.

The Imugan Falls~Dupax Sea of Clouds rides of Team CAMP were very successful with masters' Edwin, Greg, Ruben (our current VP), Renee (our current President), Vince, Vhee, me, master Boskie.. and three of the guest riders who joined with us that time.

The experience was one of our very best rides in Team CAMP. We have enjoyed a lot specially the winding road in Santa Fe going back - the boys were enjoying the "racing pace" so much. It was a very extreme moment that I failed to record - no Gopro that time.

All the time spent on the rides were never wasted - both destinations gave us lasting experience - the cold water of Imugan Falls, and the awesome feeling on top of the Dupax Sea of Clouds Viewdeck, was more than enough to utter, "nice rides, Masters!".

Byahe lang.. cheers!
