Sa Malayong Dilasag ng Aurora.

Dilasag is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Aurora, Philippines, that is 3 hours and 15 minutes away from the capital town of Aurora, in Baler.

Coastal areas of Dilasag feature white sand and rocky beaches that's way better than in the nearby Casapsapan Bay.

So we, my wife and our kumpadres and kumares (ATAT Adventure Riders) went on to ride Dilasag Bay instead, passing Casapsapan Bay after Baler, Dipacilao, Dinalungan, and Casiguran - wherein the zigzag roads are so amazing to ride.

Safety Stop When Going Aurora.

The Jollibee in Aglipay Street, in Rizal, Nueva Ecija has been always our safety stop - before taking onwards to Baler via Pantabangan.

Hot coffee and breakfast meals plus clean comfort rooms are there to enjoy for a few minutes of safety rest after about 110km and 2.5 hours of rides from Angeles City, Pampanga.

Ampere Beach and Rock Formations.

We bypassed the town of Baler and reserve the moment on our way back from Dilasag - the Ampere Beach and Rock Formations is another must-stop places there in Aurora.

It is very difficult to resist not stopping there after 55km of 1 hour rides from Baler..

We had been there too many times since it is the same roads passed by the Philippine Loopers when taking on the North Loop Challenge.

Passing from Santiago, Isabela to Baler via Quirino Madella zigzag roads known to me as "Diablo Pass" when looping clockwise from Aparri.

Or, passing from Baler to Santiago, Isabela on the same "Diablo Pass" going up to Aparri when in counterclockwise loop. Sir Leovie Reyes with Sir Eldon and Sir Robin passed the "Diablo Pass" on their way to Aparri on the official North Loop registered under the Adventure Tour Philippines.

We, however, pass the same road on clockwise loop - from Aparri to Baler via Santiago, Isabel and "Diablo Pass" also.

Casiguran Curve.

There was this place in Casiguran that's also interesting to stop and take photos overlooking Casiguran Bay.

The sheering heat of the sun was taking heavy toll on us - so a few minutes to taking photos there was a good idea while resting under the trees.

That spot was a great breathing room for us as only a few minutes of rides from our last stop in Dinadiawan.

The boys were taking time to make good poses, LoLz.

And funny jokes where all around...! hahaha

But this almost U-shape turn in the mountain is quiet impressive - this is where "kamote riders" (riders that do street racing on public roads) will enjoy the most.

Karinderia in Casiguran, Aurora.

Whenever we rides, we don't eat lavishly along the roads - it is best to try to mingle with locals by eating where everyone is confidently eating - and that's in local eatery known as "Karinderia".

Local Filipino dishes and barbeques is more than enough for typical Filipino riders.

A Stop before Exiting Casiguran.

The heat of the sun was very intense that everyone felt the need for a water break along the road.

We felt like we were being roasted from the inside and out hahaha

Casiguran Welcome Arch.

Entering the town of Casiguran, there is this Welcome Arch that's almost unnoticeable when speeding fast from the zigzag to the open roads.

Only some at the back noticed and stop to take photos with the arch.

Those riders in front were so intense riding so fast that the arch seem not in sight when tunnel-visioning.. LoLz

Casapsapan Junction.

This is the place where you have to decide to go to Casapsapan Bay taking the right side or Dilasag Bay going left of the junction road.

We actually went to Casapsapan Bay and check the condition of the available resorts there - there was no available power source there in Casapsapan, so we decided to keep the original plan of going in Dilasag Bay.

Dianao Beach Club and Resort.

This has been one of the best resort you can find in Dilasag - not to mention that the resort has nice facilities with equally astounding price tag by which we cannot afford.

The beach there was very nice - an ideal beach for swimming with kids.

The entire beach head was very clean and no human waste since it's well maintained by the resort.

WMK Beach Resort.

This was our best choice - WMK Beach Resort - with rooms that are affordable, can accommodate us all, and a generator that can maintain the air-conditioning system.

So we unpacked our stuffs, prepare our dinner, and drinking spree at night.

The boys managed to buy a mid-sized yellow fin tuna - and pareng Leovie prepared it as "paksiw" (cooked in vinegar).

Our dinner was so perfect for that moment - after riding more than 300km from Angeles City - finally, we can swim, drink, drink more and rest.

Last night's liquor party on the rocky beach was so damn unforgettable - I was (according to them) drinking partly with salt water, as the cup i was holding were soaked in the sea water, grrr!

The Beautiful Garden Resort.

Waking up in the morning, we were very surprised to see how beautiful garden the place we were in - it was like a garden all around - it was so nice..!

The flora and fauna were everywhere.

The fruit bearing trees makes the air smell so nice and fresh.

There was this old fountain that was not maintained fully well.

And the beach... the rocks... it's so awesome in the early morning...!

Dilasag Bay was still pristine and lacks human waste - It's too far for mainstream tourist's abuse of nature.

We prepared some breakfast before we left Dilasag. It's a long journey back home and it was a bit raining.

It was hard to just stay overnight in Dilasag but we don't have the luxury of time to spend a day more.

Back to Casiguran Welcome Arch.

At this point, the rest of the group were able to stage a stop at the Casiguran Welcome Arch.

It was raining hard unfortunately so they were not able to remove their helmets off...

The girls were able to assemble together for a nice photo with helmets on...

It was also cold during our time from Dilasag - we were soaking in the water that time.

Although some managed to take off the helmet and smile while raining.

It was just a few minutes, and we were off again.

Safety Stop in Dipaculao.

Riders need to take a safety stop at some point in order to refresh and take a peee.

We were already soaked in wet and covered so many kilometers from Dilasag and Casiguran Arch.

It's nice not to push everyone and just enjoy the roads, the rides, and the scenery.

Buko Pie de Baler.

One of the best buko pie in Aurora is here in Buko Pie de Baler, along the road going Dinadiawan.

The buko pie is re-heated and it's tempting to buy in packs tied on top of the motorcycle topbox.

We were still okay but the many kilometers from Dilasag was taking toll on us - it was very tiring on that point.

Nonetheless, jokes were thrown as if no one was wasted and really tired.

Hidden by the trees on the other side of the road, a rocky beach was awesome to see - we were very near the Dinadiawan Rock Formation, as the rocks on the beach hinted.

Bypassing (not stopping) in Dinadiawan Rock Formation and on to Baler town, we decided to eat a little bit lavish but not too expensive.

Picnic Bay Buffet Fiesta in Baler.

One of the best places to eat in Baler is in this unlimited food restaurant very near Sabang Beach eat side.

Filipino dishes were served in meat, seafoods, and vegetables.

You would miss a lot if you visited Baler and never gone to these unlimited foods buffet restaurant.

For only 250 pesos per head with a discount of 45 pesos for senior citizens and PWD's, it's already hard to resist.

After eating almost endlessly, you can exit the rear gate and enjoy the Sabang Beach.

It was very nice to take photos of the group relaxing on the beach after a nice meal.

Touchdown, Angeles City.

We never have the chance to take any photos after Baler since it was raining hard in the mountains passing Pantabangan, Nueva Ecija down to Rizal.

This Dilasag rides was so unforgettable after a total of 726.6 kilometers back and forth of sheer heat of the sun on the first day, and heavy rains going back on the second day.

Riding motorcycles to faraway places will give one the feeling of self-meditation and a form of excitement that is both addictive and fun.

We were very thankful to God in allowing us to visit and enjoy the rides to Dilasag without a scratch - to Jervy, Leovi, Robin, Thugz, Mel, Cath, Eldon, and my wife Yvette, thank you for the awesome moments, "Sa Malayong Dilasag ng Aurora".. we shall be back to Dilasag...!

Byahe lang..!
