Jomalig. The Enchanting Island.

Think of an isolated Island that packs some of the most striking scenery and astonishing beauty all around it - for me, that's Jomalig Island.

Perhaps the best place to stage a pre-nuptial photoshoot in all of the Philippines, Jomalig Island surprisingly packs some of the best places that anyone would wish to see in one single Island - gold and white sand, sandbars, rocky beach formations, and unthinkable wonders of how nature surprises us every time. Even the locals (called "Jomaligins") are surprisingly warm in welcoming visitors in their one-of-a-kind Island.

Experiencing Jomalig Island will make you fall in love..

In Ungos Port, in Real, Quezon, the Jomalig Express 1 bangka is waiting for you in the early morning - so better come there early.

In Jomalig Island, the best way to reach all the best spots is by riding a motorcycle and the driver as your guide. There are only a few roads there for vehicles - the roads to many beautiful places is rough and narrow (daang kalabaw) which makes it even more exciting, and accessible only to motorcycles. So finding it yourself alone is not advisable unless you want to waste your time on the island. Motocross bikes are better suited to roam around Jomalig.

Ang Puno ng "Walang Forever".

This tree is in the middle of an open plain - that when you travel by motorcycle on your way to a destination, it will surely catch your attention.

According to our guide, the tourists were very fascinated in relating this single tree to "everyone's failed relationship" - thus called by it's name, "Puno ng walang forever".

Golden Sand Beach.

The sunlight bouncing on the red-golden sand is surprisingly stealing the beauty of the rock formations in the surrounding beach with clear blue waters.

Photoshoots will be endless on this beach, so take on your best swimwear and do some unreserved killer pose..!

Iceman Rock.

Well, it was just me.. being so fascinated by that rock, and were able to convince our guide to take a photo.

He was so delighted with me and promise that from then on, he will introduce the rock to incoming tourists as, Iceman Rock.

The Hidden Paradise.

This spot has the best scenery in all in Jomalig Island.

The rocky formation is so awesome, and the blue crystal clear waters beckon anyone to get wet. Also called Lingayen Cove, it is better suited to be called "Batanes in Jomalig".

Pamana White Beach.

In good weather conditions, the beauty of the beach rivals' the famous white beach in Boracay - with its white sands and spanning long beaches.

It is mind-boggling though on how the white sands is here while the rest of the other beaches have different qualities and colors.

Salibungot Beach.

This is the premier beach in Jomalig.

We reach this beach by motorcycle through a very narrow dirt road crossing the woodlands, while others came from the boat. It has the famous "We❤Jomalig" marker on the beach sand for taking remembrance photos.

The Turtle Rock Beach.

It is a sunken beach with rock formations with awesome fine creamy pinkish sands all over the place - the Turtle Rock Beach is utterly one of the best beaches in the Philippines.

It is hard to describe the feeling once you get there. You need to experience it at least once in your lifetime.

Apple Beach Resort.

Situated on a sandbar, the best place to stay in Jomalig is in this resort - they will surprise you with a Balsa ride on high tides.

The Kubo's accommodates up to 4 visitors, and the owner herself will cook for you - just wish and it will be served hot and comes at a very cheap price.

Shooting a fellow Traveler.

Kabalen ShutterBugs had the rare opportunity to shoot Ms. Nica Agpawa on the sands of Apple Beach.

She was very relaxed, electrifying, and a very intelligent traveler along with her closest friends' Marivic and Den Rose - they too love Jomalig Island, having visited the island several times.

The Best Lunch Ever in a Travel.

We requested crabs from our host in Apple Beach, for our lunch late thinking we were coming back from visiting spots around the island.

To our great surprise, the crabs were cooked in coconut milk, "ginataan alimango" - and people there in Quezon province were very good at that. So satisfying lunch that immediately the crabs were devoured..! This was one thing I cannot forget in Jomalig Island.

Jomalig Island is definitely worth every centavo spent on the trip.

It is a lifelong experience to visit and see for ourselves the best scenery this island has to offer. The test of tides is equally worth it. For us all, Sirs' Tom, Arnel, and Jonathan, it was all worth the risk.

It was one of our very best travel together in so many times that we've been together as photo, travel, and trekking buddies.

Jomalig Island's experience is so rich and beautiful. I consider this island so wonderful to visit again with my wife giving away her stunning pose.

Byahe lang.. cheers!
